Cheerleading

I am going to high school at Wilmington Christian Academy next year, And I tried out for cheerleading. I made it! I'm so excited about being a flyer.

GREEN with envy

Envy.......something we all struggle with. It's first cousin is named jealousy. Have you met before?????

Envy gets in the way of friendships, and ANY relationship for THAT matter. Is it really worth it? God made you just the way you are. There could never be a more athletic, beautiful, muscular, popular you.

Emotionally Pure

I'm currently reading a book titled: Emotional Purity by Heather Arnel Paulsen. It's really been a help. I've heard the statement, 'Emotionally Pure' multiple times, but it never really made sense till I read this book. I love how Heather is so open and honest......and her writing is so easy to understand. A few things I've really learned:
1. Don't get emotionally attatched to someone
2. Sometimes you may not realize that you're forming an emotional bond with a guy
3. If a guy flirts with me, I'm already planning our wedding, naming our kids, and planning our first family vacation.....but he's probably forgotten about me by then.
4. watch your heart so you can prevent heartbreak

And my favorite:
Are you flirting, kissing, being a couple with a guy currently?
That guy is someone else's future husband.
How would you feel if right now you found out that YOUR future husband was doing those things with another girl this very minute?

Such a blond

Okay, so recently our church ahd it's annual CCYC (coastal carolina youth conference). It was crazy fun......escpecially Friday night cuz we stayed out till like midnight! It's really cool cuz you get to meet new people from all over the state. It's: "college for two days" as I call it rofl. Well, anyway, the first night of CCYC, my friend Spencer and I were in the gym. I was yelling at him and I didn't realize it but I was in the way of a basketball game. He had to pull me away and yelled, "Sorry, she's such a blond." Then this guy said "I wouldn't say that to her.....blonds can get pretty fiesty." It was hilario.

Sorry I havn't written in a while. Things have been busy. I've decided to start a website for the book I'm writing. I'll post the link up her in a while.

Basically what it's about is a girl named Lorynn Devon Galanter, who lives in Memphis, Tenasee. She meets this guy named Kincaid, who changes her life. The two great friends go through hardships, that will test their loyalty to one another. In the end, they find out that through it all, they can always count on love.

Recently I had some trouble my parents said would come at some point, and when it came, I really didn't know how to react to it. I was really confused, and thought, "I can handle it. I'm a "big girl" now, I don't need to go running to my "mommy and daddy". But something said to inside. So I did. I went to my parents, and to my surprise, they didn't do what I thought they would do. They didn't crawl all over my case about my prob, but they just gave me their opinion and didn't force me to take their advice. They wanted me to, but didn't treat me like I was a baby and couldn't make my own decisions. I really appreciated that. I took the advice, and, now, that I see what could have happened if I didn't, I'm so glad I did. I now see my parents as a umbrella in the midst of the new rain falling in my life.

Unforgettable

My trip was unforgettable. I really loved that experience and it was so fun! I really someday want to go there longer. It was Unforgettable.

In Burma, you don't hafta wear seatbelts. Awesome!!!! And they like weave in and out oif cars!!!

Lost.

They don't hear their fervant, heart wrenching prayers. They don't even have ears. They give.. and do not get. Their "gods" are dead. Ours is alive. They are giving their money away to them, and getting poorer and poorer. Deaths. Pain. Someone needs to go tell them. They don't understand. Plant the seed in their heart.

Burma was the most awesome experience I've ever had. I loved th people, and the one thing I remember everyone saying to me before I left was, "Never forget me." I think they're afraid I'll forget them cuz America is such a large, "perfect" country, but yet it is so far from perfect. Burma is a place that is not really "luxurious" but it is a place of adventure, love, servants, contentment, and no distractions. The people are so sweet, loving, and anxious to please. I'd go again and again. I'm actually homesick for it!! Here's just not as adventurous!!!!

A ll of the sudden I felt and overwhelming urge to write a post on my blog. Well, I am the queen of random!!!! Uh, so I got a typhoid shot today, and um I got two new books for the plane ride to Burma and HOPEFULLY we are renting Pirates Of THe Carribean Two tonight!!!!! I also got a coolio new camera!!!! (touch screen.)

Here we are on the toystory ride in Pixar Animation Studios. It wassuper cool, 'cuz you got to see the props from tons of Disney movies like Narnia, and Narnia Prince Caspian. I'm talking the real thing. Like, I saw the real Susan costume, and the real White Witche's Chariot, the real White Witch's Septar, Peter's Sword, ect., ect., ect., ect.!!!!!!!!!

First off, when we arrived in Orlando, we met friends at Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney. It was SOOOO cool! It was like a real rainforest in there, with thunderstorms and all! Oh, yeah, and talking gorillas!

The next day we went to Hollywood Studios and (yes ladies and gentlemen) I rode the TOWWER OF TERROR! Here it is in the background. The drop was forever, and.......well, I recommend it to anyone who dares to enter the TWILIGHT ZONE!!!!!!!!!

Hey I'm back. :D I'm going on a missions trip I found out!! Today I got three shots at my doctor's office, and they hurt. I felt the needle go INTO my skin, peoples! Hear me??????? Uggggg!!!!!! I asked the doctor what i should do if I feel like I'm about to faint. She said just relax and faint. I was like, "Huh??" But It went well. Thanks.

Wedding Freak Out!!!!

For those of you that don't know, Luke and Sydney are in the Davis's wedding.
I'm really scared. I can just picture it: Luke decideing he wanted to be the center of attention instead of the lady dressed in white and the guy in black. I can picture him making goofy faces at the audience. I can picture him dropping the rings.....AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can picture Sydney goofing off, too. O my goodness, I gotta get a disguise working here!!!! Any wigs I can borrow????? HELP!

After AGES of non-writing, here I am, AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to the wilds, it was a BLAST! I made some great friends and

tried EVERYTHING! From the summet to the nurse EVERY day, (allergies. It's inherited.)

to the BIG SWING! It was AWESOME!!!!!!! The freefalling part was scary, but the swinging part was fun because you scream so loud and clutch the person beside you's arm and try to scare eachother about falling!



July fourth was really fun, too. My friend Austen came down and we went out on the boat with our friends the Carnes and Colombuses and I SURF NOW!!!!! MY NEW HOBBY!!!!! Surfing is so fun! I'm asking for a board for Christmas!!!!!!!!

Hello! Sorry I havn't been writing lately.

Today, my best friend came down to Surf City,

and we may be spending the night tonight!

I'm excited!

Last night, we were going to see the NIGHT IN THE MUSEUM 2, battle of the Smithsoneon,

but It was SOD OUT AT 5:30!!!!! :0!!!!!!!

But we went on the beach, ate at Macceroni Grill, (my fav place)

and went to the beach at sunset. A small band was playing quiet hawaiian music

on the peir at The Ocianic Resteraunt, and we jumped off the lifeguard stands and into huge piles of sand! We played Pickle, went in the water, (It's a good thing I had sport shorts on! Lol)
and watched some new friends toss the football back and forth. It was cool.

Indiana Jones- Kingdom Of The Crystal Scull.

I liked this movie because

it was very cool, "educating"

and I loved the way they kept you on edge. It wasn't the BEST Indiana Jones, (The Lost Ark was the best) , but it was cool! The return Of......Indi!
